139 Macquarie Street (Domain House) is a boutique commercial asset overlooking the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney Harbour and the Opera House.

In conjunction with the CHAIRS Global suite delivery, asset owner Shakespeare engaged our team to refurbish the Level 13 lobby and on-floor amenities. As the second level within the building to be upgraded, the project adopted the existing design standard, ensuring consistency across the asset.

The lobby refurbishment included a renewed lift façade and reveals, black tiled flooring, warm LED lighting and the exposure and sealing of the original concrete aggregate. The amenities underwent a complete strip-out and redesign, introducing new finishes, improved lighting, enhanced privacy through high cubicle partitions, and sensor-operated fixtures throughout.

Delivered within a fully tenanted floor, including a high-traffic medical practice, the project required careful staging, after-hours works and proactive tenant communication to ensure minimal disruption and a seamless outcome.
